Getting started

• Create a parent account at the sign-up page. During our early launch, signing up needs an invite code. If you don't have one, email us.
• Confirm by email. Before you add a child, we email you a link to give permission (a children's privacy law, COPPA, requires it). Click the button on that page.
• Add your child and pick their grade (kindergarten through 2nd grade). Each child gets their own login code.
• A short placement the first time finds the right starting level for each skill. After that, every lesson adapts to how your child is doing.

Your child's login

• Children sign in with their login code: on the website at Student login, or in the iPhone/iPad app (tap I'm a kid). No email or password needed.
• You'll find each child's code on your parent page, or in the app under Settings ⚙️ → Children.
• If a code gets shared or lost, you can make a new one from your child's settings page. The old code stops working.

Locking apps until the lesson is done (iPhone and iPad)

• In the app, open Settings ⚙️ → Screen Time, tap Allow to give the app Screen Time access, then choose the apps to lock.
• When today's lesson is finished, those apps unlock for the number of minutes you set on the same page.
• Set a parent PIN under Settings ⚙️ → Login & PIN so only you can change these settings.

Changing what and how much your child practices

• Choose a daily number of minutes or questions for each subject, and turn individual skills on or off, from your child's settings (website) or Settings ⚙️ → Lesson Settings (app).
• On the progress page, tap ⭐ Focus on a skill to put it first for the next week.
• You can also turn on an optional one-minute math speed test.

Account and password

• Forgot your password? Use Reset your password and we'll email you a link.
• The website and the app use the same parent account. In the app, sign in under Settings ⚙️ → Login & PIN.

Privacy and your child's data

• No ads, no ad or analytics trackers, and we never sell or rent your child's information.
• Homework photos you upload are read once to suggest matching practice, then deleted.
• On your privacy page you can download your child's data, delete a child's data, withdraw consent, or delete your whole account.

Something not working?

Email hello@theprogressbridge.com with what happened, which device you were using (for example iPhone, iPad or a computer's web browser) and, if you can, a screenshot. Please don't include your child's full name or other personal details.
